1.                A great philosopher

Allama Iqbal is among the greatest philosophers of Pakistan. He was one of the greatest thinkers of his age. He was born at Sialkot in 1870.He completed his study of the Holy Quran in his boyhood.

           He was a good student and Sayyed Mir Hassan, his professor of Persian and-Urdu in the Murray College, Sialkot, helped him and developed his talent. He got hi’s MA From the Government College Lahore, a favourite pupil of Dr. Arnold.

He went to Europe for higher studies and returned home as a barrister.

He gained got reputation as a poet with a message for he Muslims.

He presented, to the Muslims of India, the picture of Pakistan in 1930.

The Ouaid-i-Azarn his dream into a reality. He passed away in Lahore on the 21st of April, 1938. He was buried near the stairs of the Badshahi Mosque.

May his soul rest in Peace!

2.A noble man

Abdul Sattar Edhi is known the world over for his great service to mankind. He is a social activistpublic figure and an humanitarian.

He is the founder and head of the Edhi Foundation in Pakistan. Together with his wife, Bilquis Edhi, he received many awards.

He was born in 1928, in the city of Bantva in India. In 1947, at the age of 19, Mr. Edhi’s family was forced to flee their hometown and relocate Karachi. Edhi founded the Edhi Foundation, with an initial sum of a mere five thousand rupees but now, the Edhi Foundation is the largest welfare organization in Pakistan.

Edhi has remained a simple and humble man. To this day, he owns two pairs of clothes, has never taken a salary from his organization and lives in a small two bedroom apartment over his clinic in Karachi.

He has been recommended for a Nobel Peace prize by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

3.A Professional cricket player

Wasim Akram is one of the top ranking cricket players in the  world. He is the best left-arm fast bowler of all time.

Wasim Akram could make the ball walk and talk like no one else did. An explosive, exciting genius who could change the game with the bat as well in Test cricket and One Day International (ODI) matches.

He was born at Jun 03, 1966, in Lahore, Punjab Pakistan. He was educated at Government Islamia College Civil Lines Lahore, where he played as an opening bowler and batsman. He was belongs to Pakistan International Airlines.

He was the first bowler to reach the 500-wicket mark in ODI cricket during the 2003 World Cup. Akram won 17 Man-of-the-Match awards in 104 tests. He also won many other awards.

Akram married Huma in 1995. They had two sons Tahmoor and Akbar. Pakistani people love their hero.
